Nice free event this evening at Pier I in Riverside Park.

Master teachers from the Piel Canela Dance and Music School will be giving salsa, cha-cha and bachata lessons and leading group dances along the river.

The event runs from 6:00 – 9:00 pm tonight (click here for a map). If you time it right, you can dance away the evening while the sun sets over your shoulder.

Pier I is accessible from the steps at Riverside Drive & 72nd or Riverside Boulevard & 68th (the pier is at roughly 70th Street & the river).

If you can’t make it tonight, this event will repeat the next two Sundays in June.
