Each summer, the Good Morning America Summer Concert Series brings major acts to Central Park where they perform live for the AM show.  The concerts, shown on most Fridays throughout the summer, are free to the public (if you get there early enough), with the doors to Rumsey Playfield (Summerstage, mid-park near East 69th) opening for the 7:00 am shows at 6:00 am.   It is a rare chance to catch one of your favorite popular artists for free.   Last week, ABC announced the lineup for the GMA Summer Concert Series, and it includes some big names that should make for many great shows.
