DNAinfo has the scoop on a free walking tour taking place tomorrow from 11 am – 1 pm. The tour will visit 20 sites on the city’s 1959 urban renewal plan for the Upper West Side, which spanned from West 87th Street to West 97th Street between Central Park West and the east Side of Amsterdam Avenue. If you’ve got commitment issues and want to play it by ear, you can just just show up at the Ryan Health Center (110 West 97th) beginning at 10:30 am. I believe coffee will be available there. Beginning at the Ryan Health Center, the tour will end at Columbus & 87th.
