This Friday: Andy Warhol Films Screened for Unsound Festival
Come to the Walter Reade Theater (65th between Broadway and Amsterdam) this Friday for a unique film event. The Film Society of Lincoln Center is bringing pioneers of contemporary electronic music, Detroit techno icon Carl Craig and storied German duo nsi., to perform live soundtracks on modular synthesizers and analog gear. The music will be set to two legendary Warhol films, Kiss and Blow Job. According to the event description, “the program is part of a wider project involving classic Warhol films and live electronic music commissioned by the Unsound Festival in Krakow, Poland, and Goethe-Institut New York.” Buy your tickets now for this interesting special event through the Film Society of Lincoln Center.
