The world-famous bridal event, Running of the Brides, is coming to the Upper West Side Filene’s Basement (Broadway at 80th). The day-long event, which starts at 8:00 am, offers a huge selection of beautiful wedding gowns discounted to only $249, $499, or $699 from original prices of $900 to over $9,000. While a large selection should be available throughout the day (between 1,300 and 2,800 gowns will be available), the most determined brides have the best shot at snagging that perfect dream dress, so getting there early will maximize your chances (some brides may even camp overnight on Thursday).
