Got an e-mail last night from a reader whose wife found what appears to be a domesticated cat in Riverside Park near 79th.

They’re now actively trying to track down the owner.

From MUW reader Jeff:

My wife came across a cat in Riverside Park at 79th street (near boat basin).  It appears to be domesticated – it was very friendly and ate out of the bowl of food she brought.  We brought it to our vet where it’s safe, but we want to find the owner.  If the owner would send us a matching photo we will happily bring the cat back.
