“Holiday On The Hudson” Tree Lighting Ceremony Tonight
If you’re looking to put a little holiday cheer in your day, take note that the Riverside Park Fund is hosting the second annual “Holiday On The Hudson” tree lighting ceremony tonight.
The event kicks off at 5:30 pm at West Harlem Piers Park, which is located along the Hudson River at 125th. Per Riverside Park Fund’s website:
Please Join Riverside Park Fund, New York City Parks & Recreation and our generous sponsor Fairway Market for our second annual Holiday on the Hudson Tree Lighting celebration at West Harlem Piers Park. Special musical guests “The Goode Time Carolers” will spread holiday cheer. Come help warm the night with lights, singing, and more. Light refreshments will be served.
In coordination with the 125th Street Business Improvement District & Community Boards 9, 10, & 11.
The forecast for this evening is low-40s with just a hint of wind — probably as good as you’re going to get for a mid-December evening in New York City. Might feel a little cooler down by the water.
