The Shops at Columbus Circle (in the Time Warner Center) are kicking off their 5th annual Holiday Under The Stars show tonight, where twelve 14-foot stars hang majestically above the 150 foot tall Great Room, one of the largest specialty-crafted display of illuminated color mixing in the world.  The show, which takes place daily from 5:00 pm to midnight, includes over 8,500 LEDs, 11,000 fiberoptics and 156 strobe lights in each twinkling star, along with a visual-sound experience unlike any other as dynamic displays of light and color are set and choreographed to holiday musical scores.  To celebrate the kickoff, The Shops are holding a dessert tasting, “We Are Sweet On You Under The Stars.” Come to the main floor to enjoy a world of fine desserts from Bouchon Bakery, Landmarc, Porter House New York, Whole Foods Market and Union Square Events.  Signature sweets include double chocolate fudge brownies from Porter House New York, mini s’mores from Landmarc, Moravian star cookies from Bouchon Bakery, sweet potato cream with a casher cream on top from Whole Foods Market, and apple crisps from Union Square Events.  Yum.
