You’re Invited to the Academy Awards!
Want to go to the Oscars? Well, now you can… at Lincoln Center. The New York Post reports that tickets will be sold to a live viewing of the Academy Awards at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall (65th between Broadway and Amsterdam) on March 7th, complete with a cocktail reception. The event is organized by NYC & Company, whose cultural foundation will benefit from the proceeds (tickets are going for $150 and $225). The event will culminate a week-long celebration of the Academy Awards which includes a marathon screening of Oscar-winning films at the Film Society of Lincoln Center and discounted tours through On Location Tours for New York TV & Movie Sites, with proceeds going to the NYC & Company Foundation.
