Fresh off the heels of tonight’s Eva Longoria event, Borders will be hosting another celebrity book signing tomorrow evening. Jillian Michaels will be on-hand to promote her latest title, Unlimited, starting at 7 pm, Tuesday.
Like today’s event, you’ll need a wristband to get in tomorrow night. Starting at 9 am, you can purchased a copy of Unlimited for $26, which will entitle you to a wristband and a place in line for the 7 pm signing. Wristbands are limited and it’s suggested you purchase your copy of the book early in the day.
When I spoke to a salesperson earlier today I was told the line for Ms. Longoria was 100 deep with an hour to go before the event started, and they actually expect a larger turnout for Ms. Michaels tomorrow. So take that for what you will if you’re planning to attend tomorrow.
Ms. Michaels will personalize up to three books but will not sign any additional items. She won’t stand or pose for photos, but WILL be doing “lean-ins,” which is apparently an industry term for exactly what it sounds like — if you stand near her, she’ll lean in to your photo. Coincidentally, I used this same technique in the early ’90s to get into pictures with the “cool kids” for my junior high yearbook.
