The Post reported that John McEnroe dined at Recipe (452 Amsterdam) last week and loudly recounted tales of “beating Bjorn Borg,” drawing the ire of some fellow diners in the tiny restaurant.

“He was several decibels louder than the average restaurant noise. It was obnoxious,” said the paper’s unnamed source.

The restaurant confirmed that the tennis bad boy dined there, but according to McEnroe’s rep “Neither my client nor the manager on duty said that anyone complained about anything.”
