Looking to meet other Upper West Siders, enjoy the spring, get a little exercise, and help a great cause all at once?  Then join My Upper West for the 2010 Walk MS.  My Upper West founders Lauren and Torrey have created a team to take part in Walk MS Manhattan, a fundraising walk that benefits the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.  The walk takes place on Sunday, April 18th, with a route of 3 or 6 miles starting and ending at the South Street Seaport.  It is free to sign up, and there is no minimum fundraising requirement, so the only things you really need to bring are your walking shoes and a smile!

Team My Upper West will kick into high gear in the coming weeks, hoping to achieve a big fundraising goal with your help and with an upcoming fundraising party on the Upper West Side.  In the meantime, we would love for you to join our team and walk to create a world free of MS.  Learn more about the National MS Society and general information at the FAQ site, check the event details site, or join us on the walk by going to our team’s Walk MS website, clicking “Register,” and following the “Join a Team” links for the Manhattan walk to register with the My Upper West team.
