Come to Julliard’s Paul Hall (65th between Columbus and Amsterdam) tonight for a great musical performance.  Two of the Julliard Jazz Ensembles will tackle Branford Marsalis’ challenging music in this post-Thanksgiving workout.  Mr. Marsalis is a saxophonist, composer, and bandleader who has worked with the Juilliard students in rehearsals and clinics leading up to tonight’s concert.  Julliard’s Kris Bowers notes that three-time Grammy award-winning Marsalis “will push [musicians] out of [their] comfort zones and will demand creativity” and that the show will be “an incredible ride.”
