Pretty much everything about tonight’s Upper West Side “Winter’s Eve” event is kid and family friendly.
Still, there are a few events that are particularly well suits for kids and families. If you fall into that category, take note of the following:
UPDATE: FYI — MUW reader Erin sent this comment in via Facebook:
“Unsolicited comment: we took a 1-yr-old in a stroller last year and were sorry we’d not learned more about what “kid-friendly” meant for this event. Def not baby- or toddler-friendly unless you like stop-and-go crowd strolling.”

- Arts, Crafts & More Family Fun: Various times and locations
- Joanie Leeds & the Nightlights at Kids’ Central: Kids’ Central at the American Bible Society (Broadway & 61st Street): 6:00pm – 8:00pm
- Arm of the Sea Theater: Broadway from 60th – 63rd Streets: All evening
- New Children’s Book Reading & Signing with the Honorable Ed Koch: Kids’ Central at the American Bible Society (Broadway & 61st Street): 6:30pm
- Okamoto Ice Sculpting: Time Warner Center (outside) & Columbus Ave. btw. 64th & 65th: All Evening
- World Dance presented by Dance Parade, Inc.: Broadway at 66th Street (in front of Alice Tully Hall): All Evening
- Big Apple Circus’ Boughs and Holly: Entertainers Extraordinaire: Time Warner Center, 2nd Floor: 6:30pm & 7:00pm
- Student Showcase: Various times and locations
