Preservationist group Landmark West! is embracing technology as they work to launch an Upper West Side iPhone app, according to DNAinfo. The smartphone application would be a neighborhood walking tour, guiding users up Central Park West and giving information about sites like The Dakota (CPW at 72nd) along the way. In order to launch the app, Landmark West! is hoping to raise $3,000 by September 21st. The group launched a fundraising page at Kickstarter in their attempt to reach their goal. Check out the full article at DNAinfo, and we will keep you posted on updates about the possible Upper West Side iPhone app. Photos courtesy of Jamie at From Me to You.
