Last-Minute: Fundraiser For Morningside Park TONIGHT At UWS Cathedral Church Of St. John The Divine
I apologize for the short notice, but this got lost in the shuffle over the past few days.
There’s a fundraiser tonight at The Cathedral Church Of St. John The Divine (Amsterdam & 112th) to benefit Morningside Park. The event is being co-sponsored by the Columbus/Amsterdam Business Improvement District.
You can read more information about the event at MorningsidePark.org. It’s too late to purchase advance tickets online, but tickets can be bought at the door for $85 ($135 for two). The event is being catered by Bistro Ten 18 and includes music, wine, and light refreshments.
Some people may think of Morningside Park as being part of Harlem (the northern border of the Upper West Side is a bit nebulous), but I’ve received a variety of messages from UWS residents in the northern part of the neighborhood who use it as their primary park, so I figured it was worth mentioning.
