A man was found stabbed to death inside a hotel near Broadway & West 93rd on Friday afternoon.
This comes exactly one week after a stabbing death at an SRO/transitional living facility on West 95th.
DNAinfo has the news, although few details are available.
The man, 56, was discovered Friday afternoon when police responded at 2:59 p.m., and found the the man suffering from a stab wound to the chest, cops said. He was found unconscious and unresponsive, and pronounced dead at the scene, according to the FDNY.
No arrests were made and an investigation is ongoing.
It’s unclear if the “hotel” in question is an SRO facility or not. According to Google Maps, there are several hotels in the area.
UPDATE 7/30: DNAinfo has updated their post. The incident occurred at the Narragansett Hotel, an SRO at 2508 Broadway.
Neighbors in the building, which is a single-room occupancy building, said the victim had moved in within the past six months.
Joseph McManus, 58, who has lived in the residence for seven years, said the victim had an intimidating presence, and went by the nickname “Outlaw.”
