More Upper West Side HomeGoods Details

Racked has some more information on the HomeGoods that opened on Columbus & 99ths this past weekend, including links to additional reviews from Madison Avenue Spy and The Shophound.
Shophound reports:
“If you like rummaging through the dusty basement at Century 21 for a great deal on a set of knives of a discounted frying pan, then spacious, well-lit Home Goods will feel like a luxury store. If you have no patience for that sort of thing, then by all means, stick to Bloomingdale’s.”
“The street level is devoted to kitchen and tabletop categories including an abundance of All-Clad, Cuisinart and Calphalon products which, at times, can render Williams-Sonoma obsolete. Downstairs, there is everything else from furniture to bed and bath as well as lamps and other gifts and home accessories.”
According Madison Avenue Spy:
“In addition to home furnishings, HomeGoods is also stocked with accessories for the kitchen and diningroom, bedding and bath, kids décor, toys, pet and storage. Unlike many of the products in West Elm and Ikea, however, many of the products from HomeGoods are high quality and very well priced.”
“Did we mention that there’s also an amazing gourmet food section? Hard to find Campanini Risotto is just $4 and we can’t imagine the price for the same product at Eataly. Black truffle oil is $12 from a suggested retail price of $20. (We are sure Eli’s is several times more than the retail price.) Across the street, at Whole Foods, Madhava Agave is $10 but is priced at just $6 at HomeGoods. Are you getting the picture?”
