How would you like to wake up at 6:30 am with a stranger in your bedroom petting your hair and unzipping his pants?

Apparently that’s what happened to one female student at the Upper West Side’s American Musical & Dramatic Academy, in her dorm room at 207 W. 85th.

The Post has the story on the mystery man they call “a pervy prowler [who] is preying on young Broadway hopefuls.”

The suspect is described as “a 5-foot-7 white man, about 25, with brown hair, medium build and light beard stubble.” Supposedly he’s been floating around the AMDA campus for weeks, accused of stealing cash from another dorm room in September, as well as entering another student’s room roughly 30 minutes prior to the incident described above.

One student told the paper “people have seen the guy around but nobody knows who he is.”

The whole story seems a bit odd — it’s hard to tell if there’s an issue with the facts or if it’s just crappy reporting by the Post.
