Is it us, or does someone out there want Upper West Siders to gain 50 pounds? Not that we are complaining… Insatiable Critic reports that Five Napkin Burger, the critically acclaimed burger outlet on 45th and 9th, will open a second location in the spot formerly housing Ollie’s on Broadway and 84th. Five Napkin Burger’s owner, Andy D’Amico, created the restaurant when his first restaurant, Nice Matin (Amsterdam at 79th), experienced high demand for the humongous burgers on the menu. The restaurant serves several versions of their signature 10-ounce burgers, along with sushi, cocktails, and a range of entrees.
