… it’s actually art! The Marlborough Gallery has joined with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, The Broadway Mall Association, and the New York City Department of Transportation to help put on a public art exhibition. Spanish artist Manolo Valdés created a series of monumental sculptures that are on display in the city through January 23rd, 2011. The 16 bronze sculptures, located along Broadway from Columbus Circle to 166th, each include signage that displays mobile phone access numbers for an English and Spanish language audio tour with informative descriptions of the works. Click through for a guide to the location of each sculpture. [Source: Marlborough Gallery]
