If you’re a dog owner who likes to pamper your pooch, take note of tomorrow’s “Scene @ Tavern On The Green” event.

Hosted by Central Park PAWS and The Central Park Conservancy, it’s billed as “NYC’s greatest on-leash summer garden party!”

Per Paws’ Facebook Page:

Join the fun on Wednesday, September 7th 21st from 6:30 – 8:30 pm in iconic Central Park for a “meet and greet” for dogs and their humans.

Be sure your dog dresses his/her best for a costume contest judged by the stars of the TV reality series “Doggie Moms”. Also, as this is an “on leash” party, there will be prizes for the best decorated leash!

Food and drink will be on hand (and on paw) at popular mobile food trucks located in the outdoor Tavern plaza, facing the Park’s glorious Sheep Meadow.

This is one summer garden party your dog (and you!) will not want to miss!

The weather is looking a bit iffy for tomorrow, so I’d check PAWS’ FB page or @CentralParkBuzz throughout the day for updates. UPDATE: I wrote that back on September 6th for the original date. Unfortunately, the forecast calls for rain again tonight (9/21), so the advice above stands.
