Banana Shpeel, the newest production from Cirque du Soleil that has been preparing to open at the Beacon Theatre (Broadway at 74th), has delayed its opening, according to Playbill (via West Side Independent). The show had been scheduled to open on February 25th, but was delayed to March 17th due to needing some “retooling.” Producers of the show reportedly wanted to include some new performance elements before the Beacon’s performances begin. Ticket holders for performances prior to March 17th can exchange their tickets for a show on one of the updated performance dates by calling 800.653.8000.
