Outdoor Astrophotography Exhibit at Columbia University

Columbia University’s Morningside campus (near Broadway and 116th) will celebrate the merging of science and art when an outdoor astrophotography exhibit opens tomorrow. 25 double-sided 3×3 foot images of our universe taken by ground and space-based telescopes will be accompanied by scientific descriptions on Butler Lawn of the campus. Professional astronomers staff the event from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm each day to answer questions and share views through telescopes. The event is free and open to all, so come to the campus when you have some free time and enjoy a new perspective of the beauty of the universe.
