The area around the Museum Of Natural History was filled with paparazzi and fans of the TV show Gossip Girl as they both jockeyed for position to take pictures of the show’s various stars during filming yesterday.

@ReporterLeslie was on the scene and put together a recap and slideshow of the day’s happenings. As you can see from the photo above, fans were able to mosey right on up to star Leighton Meester as she made her way around set, apparently unflustered by the throng of people sticking cameras more or less right up in her grill.

If you missed out yesterday and want your own opportunity to snap some celeb shots, the Tom Hanks / Sandra Bullock flick Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close is back in the neighborhood AGAIN both today and tomorrow (a rare weekend filming event). Today production is in the area of Broadway & 98th (h/t to @olv). Tomorrow, filming will be in the same vicinity that Gossip Girl was in yesterday — around Columbus & 77th (h/t to @JLPinNYC $ Norma).

No promises that you’ll be able to stick your camera in Hanks’ or Bullock’s face like the picture above, but you never know.
