Yesterday’s Live with Regis and Kelly featured a large-scale event to break the Guinness World Record for the largest custard pie fight, and it was a success!  270 audience members gathered outside the ABC studios on 67th and Columbus yesterday to participate in the pie fight, in which 1,500 pies baked by Sara Lee were thrown to break the previous record.  Don’t worry, it wasn’t just a big waste of food… $10 from each pie was donated to Meals on Wheels.  Click through to see some more pictures of the event.
