dead-poet Are you an aspiring poet looking for some recognition? Come to The Dead Poet this afternoon for a poetry contest. New York-based community literary magazine Literal Latte is putting on the contest in which the winning poem will be published in the magazine and may even earn a spot on the wall of The Dead Poet. In order to ensure a poem written on-the-spot, contest entries are to be submitted on one of The Dead Poet’s cocktail napkins and the theme will be announced at the beginning of the event. It sounds like a fun way to enjoy an evening at the literary bar, as well as a good opportunity for a budding poet to get published.
