PostSecret’s Founder at Columbia Tonight
Five years ago, Frank Warren began a project in which completely anonymous people decorate a postcard and portray a secret that they had never previously revealed. The only restrictions on the postcards are that they are truthful and have never been spoken aloud before. Amazingly, thousands of people have been sending Warren postcards for the PostSecret project, many of which contain shocking, personal, and deep secrets. Warren’s latest anthology, PostSecret: Confessions of Life, Death, and God, contains secrets that are intimate and personal, but reveal an interesting perspective on human nature. Warren will be at the Teachers College of Columbia University tonight to share inspirational and funny stories from PostSecret, show some secrets that were banned from his books, and answer questions or hear deep secrets from his audience.
