Previews of Upcoming Lincoln Center Theater Play Begin Thursday

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

whentherainstopsfallingThe Lincoln Center Theater is presenting a great new play, with previews starting tomorrow.  When the Rain Stops Falling is a compelling family saga taking the audience back and forth in time from one generation to another from 1959 to 2039 in Australia.  With four generations of fathers and sons, their mothers, lovers and wives, the play is epic in its scope, yet at the same time extraordinarily intimate.  The production received excellent reviews when playing in Australia and London, and now you can see it right here at Lincoln Center Theater (65th between Broadway and Amsterdam).  Tickets are $80-$85, but remember that the Rubenstein Atrium (Broadway between 62nd and 63rd) may offer day-of discount tickets for this production.
