Above, check out the space that used to be O’Neals (64th between Broadway and Central Park West).  This recent photo, taken by My Upper West tipster @whitneyhess, shows just how much work they are doing on the space to transform it to an Atlantic Grill.  O’Neals’ closed on June 28th after Stephen Hanson’s B.R. Guest signed on to open the space as an Atlantic Grill.  The new restaurant, a seafood restaurant that will seat about 250, is a second Atlantic Grill, with the original eatery on the Upper East Side.  A late August opening was originally reported for the restaurant back in May, but looking at the above photo, it may be open a bit later than next Tuesday.
