Most movie and TV filming happens Monday through Friday when normal people are at work, but today Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close is partaking in some rare weekend production work.

Filming is actually spread out over two areas of the Upper West Side — crews are in the vicinity of both Broadway & 98th, as well as Columbus & 77th.

If you’re a celebrity stalker, this might be your chance to spy Tom Hanks or Sandra Bullock (or James Gandolfini, John Goodmand, and Jeffery Wright too). As evidenced in yesterday’s post with pics from Thursday’s Gossip Girl filming, you can occasionally shove you camera almost right in and actor’s face.
