Get Ready for the iPad at the UWS Apple Store
Apple’s newest major product release, the iPad, has set a whole new standard for pre-release buzz, garnering worldwide anticipation and excitement from Apple fans for the gadget. Now, it’s almost here… the iPad is slated to be available in stores on Saturday, April 3rd, retailing at $499 and up. Now that we Upper West Siders have our very own Apple retail store, we can drop by on Saturday and check out the new product, which is a tablet computer that has similar functionality to an iPhone but a larger screen that makes it easier to browse the web or read an e-book. Come to the UWS Apple store (Broadway at 67th) on Saturday for not only a look at the new iPad, but also a short tour on its “amazing” features. Every 15 minutes from 9:15 am to 6:00 pm, an iPad expert will conduct a free tour of the iPad, demonstrating its capabilities with videos, iBooks, and other apps, and being on hand to answer questions.
