Mentioned last month that lottery registration for the annual “Five Boro Bike Tour” was open.

Just a quick reminder that if  you’re interested and haven’t already submitted your name, the deadline to do so is 5:00 pm today.

You can register for the event on BikeNewYork.org — the actual event takes place on Sunday, May 6th.

There’s a $6 fee to enter the lottery, and if selected, there’s an additional $75 registration fee. You can read a FAQ with all the details here.

While not specific to the Upper West Side, the event does cut through the entire north-south length of Central Park. Given the amount of people on the UWS with bicycles, I figured this is of interest to more than a few readers.
