Restaurant Week Profile: Atlantic Grill at Lincoln Center

Friday, February 4th, 2011

atlantic-grill-lincoln-centerIt’s the second week of Winter 2011 Restaurant Week, the event that lets you try meals from some of the best and fanciest restaurants in town for a prix fixe price of $24.07 (lunch) and $35 (dinner).  To honor the occasion, we will profile a participating Upper West Side restaurant each day and its Restaurant Week menu.  Today, we head to Atlantic Grill at Lincoln Center, the seafood eatery on 64th between Broadway and Central Park West that opened in September 2010.

Because this is the first Restaurant Week for which Atlantic Grill is open, Upper West Siders have a new option for prix fixe deals during the event.  Offered for lunch and dinner on Monday through Friday, as well as Sunday dinner, the menus are a nice sampling of the regularly-offered menus, with a good mix of cooked seafood and sushi.  Start your meal with a choice of the New England Style Clam Chowder with lobster roe brioche croutons, Blue Moon Baby Lettuce with clementine, shaved fennel, candied pecans, and citrus-ginger vinaigrette, or Spicy Crab & Salmon Maki Roll with cucumber and chipotle garlic sauce.  Entrees include a salmon option, a steak option, or an Omakase Tasting with one piece each of Salmon with ginger mustard sauce, Hamachi with serrano pepper yuzu, Branzini with endive plum sauce, and Tuna with oregano soy.  Finally, end the meal with a dessert choice from selections like the Hazelnut Crunch Torte with liquid caramel and coffee praline ice cream or the Winter Apple Confit with mulled cider sorbet and cinnamon oat streusel.  Make your reservations at Atlantic Grill at Lincoln Center by calling 212.787.4663 or by booking through Open Table’s website, and come have a taste of the seafood that Yelp reviewers call “fresh” and “superb.”
