Now that 200 West, the big residential and retail development at Broadway and 72nd, has taken down its construction shed, it’s feeling like the area will be up and running soon.  200 West news has been coming in at a steady stream in the last couple of weeks, with many excited about the soon-to-be Trader Joe’s and fewer thrilled about the Bank of America and overall building design.  After all of the new information about the development, there is still an open question… what will go into the third commercial space, located on the second floor?  While nothing is official, and the retail development’s official website is still advertising the space to be open (see above photo, shown on 72 and B’way’s site), there are rumblings that the space will house a home accessories store.  In particular, My Upper West commenter Mike tipped us off to the possibility of this space becoming a CB2, the young adult home furnishings store by Crate and Barrel.  Keep checking back to My Upper West for any official updates about a possible CB2 at 200 West.
