Run for Haiti; Get Double Credit

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

run-for-haitiThe New York Road Runners’ Run for Haiti takes place this Saturday, giving runners a chance to race while raising funds for post-earthquake relief in Haiti.  There’s still time to sign up to participate in the 4 mile run/walk, which will take place on the southern end of the jogger’s path in Central Park.  If raising funds for a worthy cause while getting in some exercise isn’t enough, here is an added bonus… the NYRR is offering an unprecedented chance to get double credit for the Run for Haiti event, giving members not one, but two race credits towards qualifying for the 2011 ING New York City Marathon.  Enjoy the race!
