18E.MyNY_Samantha.TA.jpgThe New York Post sat down with Upper West Sider Samantha Bee, who currently appears on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as the “Most Senior Correspondent,” to pick her brain about some of her favorite New York City spots.  Bee, who lives with her husband, fellow Daily Show correspondent Jason Jones, in the Riverside South development, had plenty of Upper West Side spots on her list.  The Canadian-born funny woman is expecting her third child in August after being “pregnant for about six years,” and was sure to give a shout-out to Landmarc (in the Time Warner Center) for its kid-friendly vibe combined with its tasty, high-quality food.  She also praised the food at Bouchon (in the Time Warner Center), from which she orders a roasted beet salad and bacon scone religiously for lunch, and Rosa Mexicano (Columbus at 62nd) for their pomegranate margaritas and guacamole (when not pregnant, of course).  For shopping, she is a big fan of Therapie (Columbus between 74th and 75th) for its wide array of products, from its pharmacy section to toiletries to purses to kids’ toys.  Check out her full interview in the New York Post.
