RELATED POST: Dedicated “Doggie Snow Zone” At Saturday’s Winter Jam

Mentioned this earlier in the week, but here’s a reminder if you missed it.

Winter Jam NYC 2013, New York City’s annual winter sports festival, takes place in Central Park tomorrow from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm (Satruday, 1/26).

The event features free skiing (downhill & cross-country), snowboarding, snowshoeing, live entertainment, an ice lounge, winter market, and more. There’s even a dedicated “Doggie Snow Zone.”

Temperatures have been well below freezing all week and the Parks Department has been using snowmaking machines nearly 24/7. Tonight’s forecast calls for some natural flakes to finish the job.
