Attention UWS dog people:

FLORAL (Friends & Lovers Of Riverside Area Life) is holding their 18th Annual Doggie Halloween Party this weekend in Riverside Park.

The action runs from 12:00 – 3:00 pm on Saturday, 10/27 at the 72nd Street Dog Run (rain date is Sunday, 10/28).

The highlight of the event is the annual doggie costume contest. The 1st entry is $10 and each additional entry is $5 — the judging starts at 2:00 pm.

FLORAL is a volunteer organization that has represented the community of dog owners in the south end of Riverside Park since 1995. They are an affiliate of the Riverside Park Fund and sponsor and maintain the 72nd Street Dog Run.

The group is looking for volunteers to help run Saturday’s event. If you’re interested, e-mail  volunteer@rspfloral.com.
