SATURDAY: Kite Festival At UWS Pier I Until 3 pm

I’m a little late on this one, but if you’re looking for something to do with your kids today, there’s a free kite festival at Pier I until 3 pm (Saturday, 8/18).

Kite-making for children as well as live entertainment and other activities will be held throughout the day.  We’ll have kite kits for kids to make their own kite, or bring your own homemade or store bought kite and join in the fun.

Pier I is located along the Hudson River at approximately West 70th Street. The most direct access is via stairs at 72nd & Riverside Drive or 68th & Riverside Boulevard.
