SciCafe at the American Museum of Natural History

sci-cafeOn the first Wednesday of each month, the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) hosts an informal evening of cocktails, socializing, and science talk, with experts emceeing the event and discussing cutting-edge science topics.  This month’s SciCafe welcomes AMNH Astrophysicist Ben Oppenheimer, who will discuss exoplanets (planets outside our solar system) and his search for a hypothetical Earth-twin and signs of habitability in nearby planetary systems.  DJ Plate Tec-tonics will spin music, and a cash bar will be available.  The event is free, so come out to experience a unique and interesting happy hour.
