SciCafe Event: Darwin on Facebook
It’s time for another SciCafe event, the American Museum of Natural History event that brings you in a room with leading scientists for an informal evening that includes discussion on cutting-edge science topics. The 21-and-up event makes for a unique happy hour “that Mr. Wizard could be proud of.” Tonight’s event, “Darwin on Facebook: How Culture Transforms Human Evolution,” will focus on the idea that our success as a species owes as much to our social interactions as to our genetics. Anthropologist Peter Richerson of UC Davis will share his thoughts as you enjoy your own social interactions with cocktails.
