Serena Williams Checks Out UWS Digs

serena_williams Tennis star Serena Williams has reportedly been apartment hunting in the city lately, and her search has included a stop at one of the most talked-about UWS buildings this year. The New York Post reports that Williams took interest in one of the three remaining apartments in The Corner, the luxury rental building on Broadway at 72nd. The apartment that Williams was reportedly checking out is a three-bedroom unit on the 15th floor with a 1,000 square foot balcony. One of the priciest units in the building, the apartment is priced at $18,000 per month. While that seems crazy expensive, don’t forget that The Corner is complete with tons of amenities like a 10,000-square-foot rooftop terrace with jaw-dropping views, an open-air fireplace, a 12-foot misting wall, and adjacent wet bar to the chandelier, plus in-home perks like a gourmet chef’s kitchen, a Bosch washer and dryer, and more fabulous views. No word yet on whether Williams has made a decision on her next New York City residence.
