The New York Post reports that Carolyn Taylor, the 35-year-old Bronx mom accused of bringing her 11-year-old son on a shoplifting spree, had a bizarre outburst at reporters in court on Friday.  Taylor lashed out at news photographers after the court appearance, yelling, “next time, I’m coming back here with a thousand Muslims and kick your ass!”  She continued on, “All you gotta do is my kid’s school see this… you can’t do this!”  Taylor had a routine court appearance in which she learned prosecutors have yet to convene a grand jury in the case.  Meanwhile, her 11-year-old son’s grand larceny charges have been dropped, and he was sent to live with his grandmother.  Taylor and her son first made news when they were caught on surveillance camera in the midst of an Upper West Side shoplifting spree that included the theft of a credit card at The Gap (Broadway and 67th), the shoving of several items into Taylor’s bag at the Always Love pharmacy (near 72nd and Broadway), and the purchase of items with the stolen credit card at GameStop (Broadway and 84th).
