Come to the American Museum of Natural History (Central Park West at 79th) tonight for a fun installment of their popular series on global cuisine. “Global Kitchen: The Silk Road Through Spices” explores the ancient trading route’s cultures by examining the spices once traded along the route. Nirmala Narine, globetrotter, cookbook author, and owner of Nirmala’s Kitchen, has traveled extensively to collect spices, recipes, and stories, will lead the session and discuss how chefs replicate historic flavors in kitchens today. Included in the $20 entry fee are tastings.
