Special Film Event at Walter Reade Theater

best-boyThe Film Society of Lincoln Center is hosting a special anniversary screening tomorrow.  Best Boy, an Ira Wohl film, was first screened at the 17th New York Film Festival in 1979, and went on to win the Academy Award and the New York Film Critics’ Circle Award for best documentary. Come to the Walter Reade Theater (65th between Broadway and Amsterdam) to see a screening of the film, which depicts the journey of a mentally challenged man as he prepares for a future without his aging parents, 30 years after it debuted.  After the screening, Ira Wohl himself will make an appearance to discuss the remarkable film.
