Spike Lee at Lincoln Triangle Barnes & Noble Tuesday
Iconic director Spike Lee will be at the Lincoln Triangle Barnes & Noble (Broadway & 66th) to discuss and sign copies of the 20th Anniversary Edition of Do the Right Thing, releasing tomorrow. The film was made in 1989 and changed cinematic history, with a story that takes place over a single day in the Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood and a theme of racial tension highlighted by the brilliant acting, directing, and cinematography. Tomorrow is a great chance to meet the icon himself and pick up a copy of the special edition DVD.
Update: A rescheduling has occurred, and as a result, Spike Lee will not be attending the event this evening. Instead, the movie’s star, Danny Aiello, will attend to sign copies of the classic film.
