Starting Today: African Diaspora Film Festival

african-diaspora-filmThe African Diaspora Film Festival (ADFF), taking place today through December 15th, presents an eclectic mix of urban, classic, independent and foreign films that depict the richness and diversity of the life experience of people of African descent and Indigenous people all over the world.  Most films are screened in the Upper West Side, with venues including the Thalia Theater at Symphony Space (Broadway at 95th), the Cowin Center at Columbia University (120th at Amsterdam), and the Chapel at the Teacher’s College of Columbia University (120th at Amsterdam).  Tickets to individual events range between $7.50 and $37.40, with a $167.30 festival pass granting access to all regular screenings and events and a $260 festival pass granting access to all events, including special screenings and panels.
