Starting Wednesday: The New York Jewish Film Festival

walter-readeThe Film Society of Lincoln Center and The Jewish Museum proudly present the 19th annual New York Jewish Film Festival, beginning this Wednesday.  Come to Walter Reade Theater (65th between Broadway and Amsterdam) to celebrate the diversity of the worldwide Jewish experience through an unrivaled selection of cinematic work.  Opening night kicks off with the US premiere of Saviors in the Night/Unter Bauern: Retter in der Nacht, a powerful World War II drama portraying how courageous German farmers in Westphalia risked their lives to hide a Jewish family.  Individual screenings in the festival are $7-$11 per ticket, so order tickets online to experiencing one of the incredible and unique selections for the NYJFF.  A complete schedule of films in the festival can be found at the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s website.
