Street Closings for Cronkite Memorial Service
With President Obama coming to our ‘hood today to join a group of some of the most high-profile people in the country for the Walter Cronkite Memorial Service at Lincoln Center, several streets will be closed and areas surrounding the service will be restricted for security. Street closures include the following:
• 65th between Columbus and Amsterdam
• 62nd between Columbus and Amsterdam
• Between 62nd and 66th, there will be intermittent street closures along Columbus and Amsterdam
Currently, there are no street closures planned for Broadway; however, if circumstances change, Broadway closings could be intermittent. The closings will occur from 8:00 am until at least 12:30 pm today. Make your travel plans accordingly! [Source: Lincoln Square BID]
